This page explains how plans, payments, the trial period, cancellations, and refunds work in Cowculator.
1. General
Payments are processed via Stripe; the billing currency is EUR.
By providing your payment details, you authorize us to make recurring charges in accordance with your plan.
Your use of the service is governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Plans and limits
Each plan includes specific features and limits (e.g., number of public calculators, form submissions). Exceeding limits may result in temporary feature restrictions or a prompt to upgrade to a higher plan.
3. Trial period
The trial lasts 14 days. For transparency, after the trial ends your subscription does NOT automatically convert to a paid plan.
In the “Subscription” section of your account, you can extend the plan you used during the trial or choose a different one.
4. Billing and auto‑renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly — depending on the selected cycle).
- Invoices/receipts are sent to the account owner’s email or available in billing.
5. Refunds
Unless otherwise required by law, we accept refund requests within 14 days from the charge date. We typically do not provide pro‑rated refunds for partially used periods and do not refund fees for limit overages or add‑on services already delivered.
To initiate a refund, contact support at support@cowculator.app — include the account email, charge date, and the reason for your request.
6. Cancellation and deletion
- You can cancel your subscription at any time in billing settings; access remains until the end of the paid period.
- Plan changes take effect in the next billing cycle unless explicitly stated otherwise in the interface.
- Account deletion is initiated from profile settings; after deletion, our data‑retention policy applies (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Taxes and invoices
Taxes (including VAT) may be added to the subscription price depending on your jurisdiction and provided details.
8. Failed payments
If a charge fails, we will notify you by email and retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, we may temporarily restrict access to paid features or suspend the subscription until a successful payment is made.
9. Changes to plans and pricing
We may update plans and pricing. Material changes will be announced in advance by email or within the service interface. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
